Bridge Burton & Trent Court in Burton On Trent is a nursing service providing high quality care to people with complex mental health and dementia.
We are reaching an exciting time in our development and have an opportunity for an experienced Administrator (working 37.5 hours per week) to join our team in Burton On Trent. Full training and induction is provided
We are looking for someone who has a positive, patient and flexible attitude along with excellent communication skills and a passion for engaging with working age or older adults with dementia and associated conditions.
Candidates will need to have a good working knowledge of HR procedures relating to setting up new employees, DBS checks, references and personnel files adhering to GDPR. In time this role will oversee a Receptionist / Administration Assistant therefore, people management experience is desirable.
You will be responsible for processing timesheets onto a bespoke time management system and preparing the payroll for payment by an external company.
You must have experience and knowledge of financial procedures including cash handling, banking, sales invoicing and petty cash.
Also you will be responsible for keeping staff training records up to date and files compliant.
You will be required to assist the Home Managers and Matron to ensure effective, efficient and regulatory compliant administration at all times.
The role would suit someone who is able to multi task, prioritise workloads, remain calm under pressure and greet visitors with a smile.
Experience of working in a care home or social care environment is desirable but not essential.
Experience of CQC inspections and other external agency inspections is desirable bit not essential.
