About The Role
Supporting people living with dementia, mental health issues and behaviours that may challenge
This role is for both Full Time/Part Time
We are looking for individuals to work as part of a team to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene within Towerview Care, whilst ensuring a safe, comfortable environment
What we are looking for someone to:

· To work as part of a team to provide daily delivery of clean, pressed, and folded linen and personal clothes

· To ensure all areas are spotlessly clean and adhere to Infection Prevention Control Measures and Health and Safety Regulations
· Maintain cleaning regimes for all areas of the home and ensure cleaning schedules are recorded as per policy (excluding those maintained by Kitchen Staff), in line with the Company’s hygiene, cleanliness, infection control, COSHH and Health & Safety policies and procedures
· Ensure that the following are carried out at appropriate intervals in all areas of the houses daily:
· Thorough cleaning of all communal areas including toilets and reception areas
· Dusting, vacuuming, and washing down of all areas including residents’ bedrooms
· Cleaning of all windows.
· Polishing of mirrors
· Dusting of all ledges, pictures, high areas, and skirting boards
· Shampooing of carpets
· Cleaning of curtains and furniture
· Emptying / cleaning of waste bins
· Restocking of toiletries, soaps, towels
· Maintain clean toilets, sluice, and laundry areas always
· Conduct schedules and audit checks for all areas of the homes (excluding those maintained by Kitchen Staff), at appropriate intervals, to ensure cleaning has been properly carried out and compliance with legionella, infection prevention control and COSHH
· Continuously assess the work of all staff members to ensure consistently high standards, if this is not the case then report findings to the Home Manager
· Liaise with the home manager regarding the effectiveness of cleaning products, and ensure their safe storage
· Be diligent in all aspects of Health and Safety Policies, Infection Prevention Control and CQC regulations and identify and record any problems and bring to the attention of the Registered Manager or Matron.
· Infection prevention & control is everybody’s responsibility; it is a requirement for all Towerview Care staff to comply with all the infection control policies and procedures.
